Program In order to become a doctor you need to finish high school and then attend University. The university I’m going to apply for is University of British Columbia (UBC) It takes 4 Years to get the Doctor of Medicine Degree. Also you'll need to complete approximately 90 credits from the following subject areas: English Biology General Chemistry Organic Chemistry Biochemistry Pharmacology. The programs you will have to take in University or College for this career are: Medicine (MD) Medical Science, General Experimental Medicine Surgery Psychiatry

Credentials The credentials you would get when you complete the program is: Doctors Medical Degree (MD Degree) Doctors get certificates in specialties such as surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, oncologists, or a person who is specialized in cancer research. Employment Outcomes This program prepares you to become a doctor which is what I want to become. Additional stuff that you could do to add to your resume is do volunteer work at a hospital or walk-in-clinic, etc. You could become from a typical doctor to a pedestrian just with a bit more knowledge and you may just have to do couple of extra courses to become a pedestrian
Am I a Candidate for this Program? I think I am a good candidate for this job because this is what I have always wanted to be. I am good with other people and helping them out when they’re hurt. I really care about other people around me at all times. This has always been my passion. My passion is to help others in need, and this is why I think I’m a good candidate fore this program.
