Enable Others To Act. Name: Institution:

Enabling others to act cannot be achieved when someone does it all alone. One needs support and talents of others. As a leader who is determined to enable others to act, I am subtle to the wants of others, provide support, ask questions, ask for aid, and develop others and most of all listen to what they have to say. Good leadership ensures action of others for example in the organization is providing care, support and engaging other people in what I do. This brings along a lot of success and transparency.

It involved a badge or a logo that acted as an award in a leadership challenge. Anyone who supported and contributed to the achievement of the organization felt even more inspired to keep performing and share with me unique talents and ideas. Also, I increased the activities in the social media to be in line with the modern technology. The internet creates an excellent and reliable platform for interaction in that when I reply to s of contributors and retweet to Twitter messages; the clients would feel energized to keep their ideas flowing. Again, involving me in dialogue with enthusiasts and supporters helped greatly in enabling others to act.

To know that my leadership bore fruits; the clients and fans increased, and supporters become real friends. Assets are shared and also there is mutual benefit from both sides. To conclude, I keep myself encouraged in the heart for it takes backing from others to convert to an exceptionally good leader. As a leader, I not only inspire people and enable them to act. I also need someone else to mentor me and encourage me too. In my case, I came across a blog about a concert violinist by the name Tasmin. She decided to take her leadership action to another level while staying true to her talent. Her aim was to involve more people to share her adoration for the violin.

Tasmin decides to challenge herself from the usual norms of the industry by making her album a free download. It was a total risk, but she stuck to it. She challenged people to consider her music keenly and after knowing her music, the next step she took was challenge them to buy a CD or attend her concerts if they liked her work. She did not leave aside those less interested people and she did ask them to write to her and explain “If not, why not?” what would be done to get them interested.

Involving her audience this way was a stepping stone to her success since; she knew what the audience expected of her and improved her talent. It also sought out a corporation with her capable audience. Being a lover of music, she inspired me to download her music, as well as to attend her live concert. Enabling others to act is of significance since; it encourages groups mutually as well as the success of a leader. It does not matter who you are or how you are for people to embrace what you do. Consider possibilities and focus on what can be, not what can’t be.
