What led to the growth of women’s incarceration rate after the 1900’s? Incarceration rates for women increased after the mid 1900’s. Classicism Racism

So What Now? Revise sentencing terms for misdemeanors and place women in the proper facilities. Provide more opportunities for women in the public sphere.
