Day 1: God is my creator Genesis 1 is about creation. God created the Earth in 6 days and on the 7 th God rested. God looked around at everything He had created and He declared it very good (Gen 1:31) -What would it mean for a child to understand they were created for the purpose of being very good? Not good in terms of performance. But God created every child to be morally good despite their performance? God created us special to have a relationship with Him. (Gen 1:27) - Invite a child to wonder what does that a mean
Day 2: God is my Provider 1 Kings 17 is about how God works through Elijah, a person of God. Elijah the beginning of this chapter announce a drought/famine. This is extremely bad for a culture that survives off the land like farmers. A famine can kill crops and spoil the land and indirectly affect animals. God works in mysterious ways, but does provide for us. Sometimes we might not see his provision or we might ignore the helping hand. -What do you see as an obstacle to see God working today? God can create something out of nothing. (1 Kings 17 x 3 times) - Can you find passages when God did this? Do you think God can do this for you?
Day 3: God is my PRotector Daniel 6 is about God protecting Daniel in the Lions’ Den. Daniel refuse to worship the Persian King. Refusal was death, but God commands there is no other god but Him. Daniel needed to make a choice. Either act obediently or disobedient. -Choice sometimes can be hard in life. We want to do the right thing, but there are consequences Can you list any situation that you find tough to decide to do right? God was with Daniel, will God be with you? -Can God be with you in the scary situations in life? How? Look at the passage and find where God protected Daniel and find who was against him and who was for him?
Day 4: God is my Saviour John 3, 19 and 20 is about people interacting with Jesus. Quick Question: Who is Jesus? What do you seen happening in John 3? Two key people talk to Him. -Who are the key people who talk to Jesus and why? Can anyone tell me why Jesus was punished in John 19? -Now Pilate wiped his hands from the affair, but historically, he is still looked as bad. Why is that? Why is it so hard to believe in Jesus? (John 19:28-20:29) - Write a small note to someone about you learned today, tell them why it is important? Later, consider John 20:30-31
Day 5: God is my coming king John 14 is about how Jesus comforts his disciples. Revelation 1, 4, 21, 22 is about How does Jesus comfort the people who followed him the most? God talks to us a variety of ways, but mostly through the Holy Spirit. In Revelation 1, how does God talk to John? After Reading Revelation 4, what is your impression of God, Jesus, and Heaven? -Have you seen the film Heaven is for Real? Revelation 21-22, is complicated. Why is it at the end of the Bible?

Whole Day Overview
Afternoon is not set in stone The schedule is flexible, but we need to plan for options in advance. Kids have an hour lunch from 12pm to 1pm Since they are around, it would be good they get some outside time, but since we are at Greenbank we need to be careful of the activities. Icebreakers can be inside or outside. We need to get a few since we don’t know who will around. Probably we have to think simple games. Recapping the day is always good for reinforce memory by repetition. Activity books, puzzles, mazes are one venue. If we have short video to be interactive that would help. Speakers need to be someone new, we can invite police, fire dept, or ? Story (Max Lucado: You are Special, Heaven is for Real, others?? Movie or Rest
