Netball is a non-contact sport. It is played with 2 teams each with 7 players and usually a sub. The positions used in this sport are GS, GA, GD, GK, WA, WD, C. The court is split into 3 thirds and only certain positions are allowed to enter them. The of this game is to get the ball down to your end of the court and the GS and GA shoot the goals. Some of the main rules of netball are no contact or obstruction, no stepping, off side and short pass. If you make one of these mistakes it may result in the other team getting a free pass or shot. Some times you may even be out of play and can’t defend them while the get the pass. Image found on google images

Netball uses many rules. When playing if you break one of these rules it may result in the other team getting a free pass or even a free shot at goal. Some of the rules are: Stepping – if you have the ball and you move your landed foot off the ground. Obstruction or contact- When you are defending a player but you are less than 3 feet away from them or you make physical contact with them. Replayed ball- When you bounce the ball or take a shot and it doesn't touch the ring but you catch it again. Drag- when you drag your landed foot across the ground. Off side- when you go in a section of the court that your position is not aloud in or your foot goes over the line.
