Calculation of potential and willingness of changes Potential for changes to Public Transport Potenzial 268 of 900 employees can reach their workplace within 30 minutes by PT Result of the survey: Only 10%, this are 90 people, did use PT!

Potential for CarSharing More than 50% of the employees of Stadtwerke Osnabrueck didn´t know the Carsharing offer of the company

Potential for change with a agency for arranging lifts 21 % of all employees are interested to shrink their car costs by using list arrangements Contra „Abstimmung mit Fahrer notwendig,“ „keine Flexibilität“ „Wechselschichten“ Pro „Kostenersparnis“ „Kollegen treffen“ „Umwelt schonen“

Potential for changes to bike / pedelec (E-bike) Accessibility within 30 minutes by bike = blue route by pedelec extended with the red route Result: Planning of bike routes to the locations of city and Stadtwerke The pedelec has with and without new infrastructures (Fast Cycle Routes) very high potential.

Potential for change within company fleets / Business trips Only a few part of employees has to make often business trips. The dates of business trips are not available centralised. Transparency, centralisation and standardisation are the first steps to optimise the business trips (modes of transport, coordination) and the company fleet use. Frequency of business trips

Results of the project New activity fields of Stadtwerke Osnabrueck Communication & information Mobility advisory Company fleet management Business trip management Parking space management

Synergies and chances The need for mobility services was identified by all involved institutions Synergies will come for the companies by a central implementation of offers and centralised carry out of the measures Chances for central actors as provider / communikation manager: –Pedelecs: selection of bikes/pedelecs, financing, service, if necessary implementation of a renting system –Chance for Stadtwerke: Expert knowlegde in electric mobility as service provider for companies –CarSharing for companies and their employees

Implementation Most measures in Mobility Management need a lot of time: The action plan has to integrate implementation, communication, monitoring and analysis Nevertheless: „Quick Wins“ are important for the public communication and the motivation of the mobility team – therefore quick implementation of small measures is important without big masterplans „Continuous Improvement“: All things can be done a little bit better – permanent examination of all processes will ensure increasing efficiency
