New Search Experience

On November 9th, Master Admins will have the ability to test drive the new search experience before rolling it out to their organization. Upon login on November 9th, click “New Features Available button on the top right of the homepage.

Master Admins are free to test drive the new search experience on their own and then enable it for all users at a later date. Remember, this new feature will go live to all users on December 15th.

To begin using the new search experience, open the new search pane by hovering anywhere in the search area.

Users will now find more information about documents and their contents in search results. The document type is visible above its title. Search terms or phrases will be highlighted in document excerpts.

Quickly filter results by type (e. g Quickly filter results by type (e.g. certificates) to identify exactly what you are looking for. You can even filter by tags. Active filters are reflected in the search box.

Content and documents that have been uploaded or created in PowerDMS can be found in the Files panel. Content will be subdivided by type (e.g. documents), where applicable, for fast identification and retrieval.

In the Users & Groups panel, admins can quickly view groups and their members. As you navigate through side panels, filters are added to help you quickly find whatever you are looking for.

The Bookmarks panel contains only the content that has been bookmarked for quick access later.
