Introduction ● The automotive industry have been continuing to improve their development and management abilities by improve their ability to innovate, get products to market faster and reduce errors Product Lifecycle Management PLM is a bussiness strategy that link all information, people and processes that related to product from birth through end-of-life disposal

1.1 PLM In Automotive PLM for automotive development needs to include common product lifecycle phases from: a. Customer requirements definition b. Product design, simulation, analysis and production planning c. Manufacturing quality management d. Service and guaranty management

2. Supplier Integration for Automotive Development Supppliers frequently possess the greater depth of domain expertise that can lead to improvements in product design Supplier integration and involvement strives to create synergy through good communication and decisions making between OEM and Supplier

3. Collaboration Between Automotive OEM and Suppliers Integration of supplier into OEM process chain can be defined in two ways: a. Quasi-Supplier Integration: Join development efforts with suppliers interaction taking place only at certain times. b. Full Supplier Integration: OEM and Suppliers contribute and share resources each other
