Definition of a saint. Translated from Hebrew words and a Greek word which mean: “ holy, set apart, sacred” (Strongs) In reference to a person who is: “set apart for God” (Thayer) Signifies one who is separated: “separated from sin and therefore consecrated to God, sacred” (Vines)

Who are the Lord’s saints? 1Cor. 15:1-2; 2 Thess. 2:14 (Those called by the gospel) 1 Cor. 1:2; 6:11 (Those sanctified in Christ) Rom. 6:17; Gal. 3:27; Mark 16:16 (Those who obey the gospel)
