The United Kingdom Lesson 1 A Promise Made… A Promise Paid 1 Samuel 1:1-2:11

Q: What is the biggest problem facing humanity today? A: Coming to understand the truth of the depth of God’s love for him/her.

The Ultimately Safe Love of God brings: Unwavering and unconditional devotion Complete protection Total provision

Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

1 Samuel 1:6: “…because the Lord had closed her womb.”

He’s preparing to provide you even more than what you want – He’s preparing you for you what you need – a greater revelation of His love and good purposes for you

1 Samuel 1:11: “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”

1 Samuel 1:17: “ Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him. ” Hebrews 13:5: “… the sacrifice of praise. ”

The problem isn’t the problem. How we respond to the problem is the problem.

1 Samuel 1:23b: “Only let the Lord establish His word.”

1 Samuel 2:1: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; my horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation. ” 1 Samuel 2:2: “No one is holy like the Lord, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.”

Psalm 138:6: “Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar.”

1 Samuel 2:5b: “Even the barren has borne seven, and she who has many children has become feeble.” 1 Samuel 2:6: “The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.”

1 Samuel 2:9: “He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. For by strength no man shall prevail.”

Zechariah 14:6: “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”

1 Samuel 2:10: “He will give strength to His king, and exalt the horn of His anointed.”

Judgment is Jesus’ job – not ours. Our job is to love others.

God is bigger than our circumstances!

Coming to understand the truth of the depth of God’s love for you.

Romans 8:32: “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him freely give us all things?”
