PASSIONATE ABOUT MY WORK  For Myself: “Do or do not. There is no try.” –Yoda  For My Students: “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” -Albert Einstein

ENGLISH 11  High Stakes: March: Two writing SOLs combined into 1 score May: One reading SOL Year: Both scores count toward graduation  Books that students need will be specified at time they are needed.  Grading -My -My office hours: Wednesdays from Flex

PRE-AP ENGLISH 9  Fast-paced, reading & writing intensive course  Homework is an everyday part of this course.  Time management is essential to success.  Reading the text is essential to success.  Grading

DID YOU KNOW…  If you through Parent Portal or Fusion and do not have your address registered, my response comes back as “undeliverable?”  If you and do not include the student’s name, I may not know who the student is? I have 150 students. I have four Brandons in one class and four Hannah’s in another. Lots of them – one of me ;)?

DID YOU KNOW…  Allowing students to advocate for themselves first builds skills that will serve them for a lifetime?  Signing up for Remind & checking Fusion will keep you in the loop just like you’re one of the students?  I post newsletters regularly in a Parent folder located in the files section of my School Fusion page?
