24/01/13 In 2002 a society called TRM (metropolitan waste management) made a project for an incinerator in the suburbs of Turin. The incinerator are the system that burn the rubbish that can’t be recycled. The rubbish that burns is of urban type. Nowadays, the new incinerators are more technological than old ones, because you get energy from rubbish. People who work in it said they will try to not pollute the environment thanks to a strict control on the emissions. The plant will be opened next summer. TRM INCI NER ATO R

24/01/13 OUR OPINIONS About AMIAT Waste Collection Plant To help AMIAT you can take on your own bulky or dangerous trash to one of their 8 ecocenters in Turin. That for givin’ a hand to nature for a better future. In Italy we don’t reach the 50% of waste segregation, and it’s a lot less the some other countries. We’re tryin’ to do more to reduce the pollution. About the Incinerator We think there’s not safety in its work, because a little percentage of toxic waste always goes out to the chimney. But for now it’s the best and the only way to reduce the trash and polluting as less as possible.
