What is bullying? When someone hurts or scares another person on purpose. It happens more than once. It is more than just something someone did that bothers me.

Appropriate ways to handle bullies: Tell the bully to stop using “I” messages. o Please stop “I” don’t like it when you bully me. Tell an adult. Have confidence in yourself. Help the person being bullied. Surprise the bully. o Say “thank you and walk away.” Avoid the bully. Make friends Don’t let the bully get the upper hand!
