Who is Dober? ■Dober is family owned chemical manufacture producing the cleaning, water treatment and corrosion & scale inhibitors ■We service the following industries ▪Pharmaceutical ▪Engine Coolant Additives ▪Oil & Gas Industries ■Spindle (division of Dober) produces operations management software to track productivity and reduce utility costs for industrial laundries ■Went live with XE in Upgraded to 9.0 in 2011
Business Problem ■Products are regulated by multiple agencies ■Some products are registered for a finite time duration ■Ability to track which products are soon to expire by region ■Prevent orders from being placed to regions where products are not registered/accepted. ■Allow order entry for demand planning of items which have not been registered but are in process or could be registered quickly
Dober solution ■Utilized JDE advanced preference 24 next order status ■Allowed items are not affected ■New order activity rule (524) to allow demand but alert not yet available. ■Items which we explicitly denied will be set to an invalid order activity rule preventing order entry 526. (hard error)
