The Bill of Rights Amendment 1-10 –Some Noteworthy Amendments #1 Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion, Assembly #4-8 Protects the Rights of the Accused #10 Protects the Rights of the States and People Also Amendments 11 and 12 are mixed into this group

The Civil War Amendments Amendments were all past following the conclusion of the Civil War –#13 Abolished Slavery –#14 Redefined Citizenship for all persons born or naturalized in the USA –#15 Extended Voting Rights to all male citizens
