The Israeli Society for Human Resource Management, Research and Development

Purpose Promote the HR profession and its members Enhance the quality and excellence of HR Management in various organizations Promote the role of HR as a business and strategic partner

Membership The Society has about 700 members. 460 are organizational members and 240 are individual members. Membership fees are NIS 450 (92 Euro)

Organizational structure Chairman - Professor IIan Meshulam The Society has 4 people on its payroll: CEO- Dr. Shlomit Kaminka Administrative coordinator Manager of professional certification program Development Manager Business Development Manager Business Board, as well as a management committee of 18 members most of whom are VP human resources

Activities The Society's Main Project – Implementation of Professional Certification of HR in Israel The Society set a "threshold" for the profession by creating uniform and clear professional standards for all involved.

Certification process- significant milestones  Definition of the required knowledge  Assimilation and implementation process  Assimilation and implementation process – 450 senior HR managers have already received certification diplomas  Recognition of academic programsfor certification -  Recognition of academic programs for certification - in 15 faculties
