Habitat  Mid Tanzania, East Ethiopia, Kenya  Savanna and Desert Thomson’s Gazelle lying down in savanna

Appearance  3 ft. high at the shoulders  Generally brown with white underparts  Male horns: slightly S-shaped  Slender, long legs  Black stripes on the side  Lightly Built Thomson’s Gazelle in grasslands

Eating Habits  It eats plants and grass  Doesn’t need much water  It eats about 12 hours a day Grant’s Gazelle

Behavior  Generally travel in herds of several hundred antelopes  Runs 50 miles per hour  Predators are big cats  2 different kinds –Thomson’s Gazelle –Grant’s Gazelle Grant’s Gazelle in plains
