JRA1/Job Submission and Monitoring Moreno Marzolla on behalf of JRA1/Job Submission Task INFN Sezione di Padova, OMII-EU Meeting, Juelich, April 23—

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Current Status / 1 CREAM-BESIn Progress – Created ETICS modules cream-bes, bes-interface (BES WSDLs and schemas), jsdl-interface (JSDL schemas) Sources currently in gLite CVS repository ETICS automatically gets sources from the repository – We are using the current (v33) BES draft specification – Paolo Andreetto (JRA3) is helping with VOMS-SAML integration – Still many issues with the tools. Axis2 proved not stable enough; Moving back to Axis1.4 requires re-rewriting a large amount of code.

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Current Status / 2 UNICORE-BESIn Progress – Implemented BES v33 – Started porting to the ETICS build system – SVN repository available at – Endpoint available (see Morris' presentation) GLOBUSFrozen – Tarball of what has been used in SC06 demo – No plans to further support BES v33 – Support for JSDL is present in WS-GT4

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Milestones and Deliverables MJRA1.17: “BES will be evaluated with respect to its adoption in OMII-EU middlewares” – DONE: see MJRA1.8—M12: “GridSAM integration into UNICORE: architecture and implementation available” – In progress: effort driven by FZJ DJRA1.9—M12: “First yearly report of the JRA1/Job Submission and monitoring task” – In progress: effort driven by INFN

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Planning M6M12M18 MJRA1.7 Definition of the required extensions needed to JSDL to satisfy OMII-Europe requirements MJRA1.17 BES will be evaluated with respect to its adoption in the middleware of the OMII-Europe partners MJRA1.8 GridSAM integration into UNICORE: architecture and implementation availableMJRA1.9 Implementation of JSDL into OMII-Europe middleware together with the extensions identifiedMJRA1.10 OMII-Europe supports BES plus required extensions M2 0 M9M23 DJRA1.9 DJRA1.10 We are (almost) here

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Work plan Highest priority – Milestone MJRA1.8, Deliverable DJRA1.9 (both due at M12) High priority – Fix compilation problems of CREAM-BES – Integration of VOMS-SAML with CREAM-BES and UNICORE-BES (required by JRA3)

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Proposal for the review While implementations must be done by months 18 and 20, it would be nice to show something “working” to the reviewers Basic support for BES v33 and JSDL – Ready in UNICORE – Still work in progress for CREAM Basic VOMS/SAML integration – Work in progress for both UNICORE and CREAM

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Thanks for your attention
