Aquatic

Biomes A biome is a place where different types of plants and animals grow or survive. Sometimes animals evolve when the perfect biome dies so they need to adapt and find another home. The aquatic biome is the biggest one.

Animals In the aquatic biome there are lots of animals. A goliath tiger fish is an incredibly dangerous fish. In the aquatic biome they're over 700 different types of fish. WOW! In the aquatic biome there are lots of animals. A goliath tiger fish is an incredibly dangerous fish. In the aquatic biome they're over 700 different types of fish. WOW!

Location Water covers over 1/3 of the Earth’s surface.

Different types of aquatic biomes Rivers are aquatic biomes So are lakes Rivers and lakes are freshwater and the sea is saltwater.

Climate The climate ranges from heavy rain to bright sunshine. Some temperatures are so cold only animals with a lot of blubber or skin can survive and live in the depths of the dark, dark oceans!

Cool Facts Tiny rivulets to huge oceans are all aquatic biomes. Lake Baikal is the biggest lake in the world. Without freshwater biomes we would all be dead because water provides water, energy and transportation.

The amazing things about the sea The sea is amazing, it holds tunes of life and beauty. Sadly this amazing sea is slowly being destroyed by careless researchers and pollution that we cause. So when you`re in the car and see a factory think what's happening to the sea.

The Coral reef The coral reef is sometimes called the forest of the sea. The coral reef provides food and shelter, which is extremely helpful. The coral reef is the most beautiful thing under the sea.
