Unit 14 - Desktop Publishing Part 2 Lesson Overview Objectives Develop a understanding of the basic features of Adobe Indesign including: Setting guidelines (rulers) Placing text and images Formatting text Understand how to use Photoshop and Indesign collaboratively. Outcomes Task 1Create the Empire Front cover using the images provided. Refer to the Video Tutorials Task 2Create 2 additional front covers from the extension folder.

Unit 14 - Desktop Publishing Part 2 Task 1 – Placing Example Front cover and setting guidelines 1) Your first have to create a new 4 page document. 2) Place the example front cover image to left of the first page. 3) Set your rulers (guidelines) to ensure front cover matches the front example.
