Introduction In this day and age when everyone is concerned about being physically fit this presentation takes the question of fitness to the next level, the Spiritual Level.

Introduction Three Simple Questions: 1.Do you know what I mean when I ask, “Are you fit?” 2.What if I ask, “Are you fit for the Sky?” 3.Can I share with you what the word, S.K.Y. means to me?

Introduction Question: 1.Do you know what I mean when I ask, “Are you fit?” Reason: This is just to guide the conversation to the next phase by starting to think about what’s required to be fit.

Introduction Question: 2. What if I ask, “Are you fit for the Sky?” Reason: This introduces the subject of heaven and how can I know if I’m going? “Are you Fit for the S.K.Y.?”, is really, “Are you ready for Heaven.” This allows them to introduce heaven not you!

Introduction Question: 3. Can I share with you what the word, S.K.Y. means to me? Reason: Now, you’re asking for permission to take them to a spiritual level of fitness awareness. “It’s sharing the plan of salvation!”

Introduction Three Simple Statements: 1.“ S ” stands for: See what God sees! 2.“ K ” stands for: Know God’s Plan! 3.“ Y ” stands for: Yield to God’s will!

Introduction With each statement we share Scripture to explain the statements: The basic text is drawn from the Books of John and First John. In addition Old Testament writings that would have been known to John as parts of The Law (Torah), The Prophets and The Psalms are included. This allows a biblical fullness in sharing Christ. All Scriptural Quotes are in the King James Version (KJV) The Holy Bible, Public Domain

Fit for the S.K.Y. Do you know what I mean when I ask, “Are you fit?”

Fit for the S.K.Y. What if I ask, “Are you fit for the Sky?”

Fit for the S.K.Y. Can I share with you what the word, S.K.Y. means to me?

S ee what God sees! K now God’s Plan! Y ield to God’s will! S.K.Y.

Fit for the S.K.Y. S See What God Sees!

S ee what God sees! 1 John 1:5 – 7 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

S ee what God sees!  God sees us affected by darkness.  That darkness is sin!  Only the Blood of Jesus can cleanse us and remove the darkness.  Sin comes when we fail to walk with God or keep His commandments.

Summary of the 10 Commandments 1. Do not worship any other gods 2. Do not make any idols 3. Do not misuse the name of God 4. Keep the Sabbath holy 5. Honor your father and mother 6. Do not murder 7. Do not commit adultery 8. Do not steal 9. Do not lie 10.Do not covet Full Text – Exodus 20:1-17 S ee what God sees! God sees you through His standards!

1 John 1:8 – 9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. S ee what God sees! God sees your need for forgiveness!

Fit for the S.K.Y. K Know God’s Plan!

1 John 2:1-6 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. God wants a Personal on going relationship with You!

K now God’s Plan! Isaiah 53:5-6 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Jesus has done this for you! Now he asks you to live for Him!

K now God’s Plan! John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. God desires for you to be saved and have Eternal Life! “Fit for the Sky”

Fit for the S.K.Y. Y Yield to God’s will!

1 John 5:1-4  Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

Y ield to God’s will! Psalms 23 The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Y ield to God’s will! 1 John 2:28 – 29 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

Y ield to God’s will! 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. God has put everything in place for you to be saved and have eternal life. It’s your choice to be “Fit for the Sky” by trusting in Him or to reject Him. Will you yield to God’s will and pray to start this journey of faith through salvation in Christ Jesus?

Y ield to God’s will! Dear God, I, See that I have been walking in the darkness of sin. I’m sorry for my sin and the darkness you see in me. I, Know you have a plan for me to be forgiven in Jesus Christ, who died and rose for me. I believe that Jesus is your Son and that He died for me. I, Yield my life to you Lord and ask for Your forgiveness and guidance as I seek to be Fit for the Sky walking in You on a daily basis. Thank you for saving me. Amen

Y ield to God’s will! 1 John 5:11-15 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
