Flex Days

 You need your clickers!!!

 Make sure you have turned in both sets of questions for chapter 10!!!!  Unit summative test will be Friday, September 28 th  We will discuss standards and avenues in which they were taught.  Address any questions.

 You will turn in all 3 mini projects.  You are required to present 1 project for the class.  When you are not presenting:  You should keep a running list of the book titles that are presented.  You will evaluate the books presented and choose your top three books (those you think you may be interested in reading) and justify why you choose those books.  Justification must be more than “It sounds good, etc”

 You will return books to the library

 Maps are due by the end of the class period.  Please analyze your map when you have finished coloring all 36 countries (who utilize child soldiers).  Write on the back…  Your thoughts about what the map tells you.

 Please complete the grammar worksheet.

 In order to assist you and ensure you are mastering concepts…  You will be given the opportunity to work on missing assignments OR re-take/do those assignments in which you did not receive 70% or above.  It will be your responsibility to look up your grades and missing assignments prior to PAT time days (Flex days). I will not be looking up grades during this time. My time will be spent with those students who need additional instruction.  After the flex days you will no longer be allowed to make up/re-test those assignments of those two weeks. (Verbal explanation provided)  If you have assignments turned in with mastery (70% or above) you will have the opportunity to complete a preferred activity.
