Mission Statement The IIT Alumni Club, Bangalore has to been designed to create a community that promotes fellowship among its members who are persons connected with IITs – Alumni, Faculty or Students – in their “TRYST FOR EXCELLENCE” and which reflects the spirit of the IITs for creating shared values for the betterment of our society.
Objectives Function as an association to foster professional networking amongst the IIT alumni in academic, professional, social and/or business areas. To engage in and encourage activities to enhance the reputation, social impact and sphere of influence of the IITs. Provide a platform for social interactions of the members and their families. Promote, encourage and provide facilities for members and their families to engage in sporting and extra-curricular activities. Form special interest groups of the members. Encourage and facilitate the members to take up activities geared to improve the society at large and contribute to national development;
Objectives Promote recreational, cultural, educational and welfare activities such as fine arts, library facilities. Provide means of social interaction amongst members – organize competitions, sports meets and institute awards and prizes. Organize conventions / workshops / conferences on matters of common interest. Encourage alumni to contribute to the IITs’ efforts towards achieving excellence in academics and research. Offer expertise and financial resources to assist not-for-profit organizations dedicated to India's development, and thereby contribute to the well-being of society. Provide recreational, restaurant and bar facilities, lounges, meeting rooms, convention centers, etc.

Funding Required For establishing the club: Rs Crores This would include the cost of land and construction of about 20,000 sq. ft. Facilities may include a swimming pool, badminton, tennis, squash, indoor sports and a gymnasium etc. Set up a corpus: Rs Crores for running expenses
