Thinking of the a topic which is -challenging -motivating for the children - related to what they study at school :

My main aim and concern as a teacher was :  *To build awareness towards a very critical and controversial topic that affects students ‘ physical health.  *To apply the 21 st century skills, and activate project- based learning in teaching.  *To encourage the use of technology and learn some new programs that help them to deliver their message and to use the self assessment technique while learning.  *To help our children to change their bad eating habits.  *To be a part of a massive national project that aim at saving our children from obesity and cancer.

 To raise the awareness of the students towards the dangerous effect of eating unhealthy food that causes many disease like cancer and obesity in order to help them to change their bad eating habits through number of procedures:  Organizing a health day event to involve the whole school even the KG students and the children with special needs participated.  Presenting a session on the importance eating of healthy food at the multimedia room which was attended by a big number of students at the elementary school and also the kindergarten school.

 To learn vocabulary about healthy and unhealthy food.  To encourage communication in English.

 To apply and use technological devices and applications that help and serve our target (like Microsoft applications)  The designed a logo and a pamphlet by Microsoft publisher document.  They prepared a research and also a listed of the healthy and unhealthy food by the word document.  They designed presentation using sway.  They used the world wide web to look for some needed information.  They used the photostory to make a movie and the photo caulage to mix some some pictures.
