My name is Tina Bowers Norfleet.
A little about me I am 32 years old. I am married with one son. I am a toddler teacher at bright horizons. I worked at a head start before working here. I enjoy working with children. It has been my career for the last ten years. My specialization in the MAED program is early Childhood Education.
My goal for completing this program My goal for completing this program is to expand my knowledge in education. I look forward to pulling out some of my leadership skills as I will need them soon in my career. I am looking forward to this because I plan to open my own daycare and I'm sure I learned several skills in this program.
My leadership skills As I mentioned earlier I work at Bright Horizons. I am the lead toddler teacher. I have three toddler teachers and one resource teacher who I supervise. I am responsible for daily schedules, lesson plans and other duties as assigned. I plan to open my own daycare within the next year and this position is helping me with that. The classes I take at Ashford also help me with this process.

My Challenges Some challenges I had in this program include time management. I work and attend Ashford online while being a mother and wife. Sometimes I had a hard time with my internet and finding resources.
How did I overcome it I never forgot about the end. I believe I may skip across the stage on October 4 th ! I am so excited and I look forward to advancing in life.
Sharping my knowlede I sharping my knowledge by learning and doing correct research. I learned how to manage my time both in and out of the classroom. I learned how to relate to students, parents and staff in a different manner.
