Welcome We welcome all students to Barnet & Southgate college We have a range of courses to suit all different levels and abilities Nationally recognised Edexcel qualification are offered We provide a safe working environment which is supported by placing each student with a personal tutor and a dedicated support team We have a dedicated team of professionals including qualified Nurse, Physiotherapist and Speech & Language Therapist

The Learning Experience We offer a wide range of practical learning experiences with individually tailored programmes. There are three distinctive pathways: Community Skills (building confidence, independence and social skills) Functional Skills (developing numeracy, literacy, communication, and use of computers) Work Skills (including work-based learning, social enterprise and work experience)

A Practical Curriculum Professional Support Work experience offered to all students on the vocational programme Tasters in College vocational areas such as Hair & Beauty, Catering and Construction Social Enterprise including a Shop, Art Gallery and Horticulture Sensory Room, quite rooms and hydrotherapy pool Sports facilities, Rebound Therapy, Drama Studio, Multi Skills Arts & Craft Supported by an experienced support team including Speech and Language, Educational Psychology and Assistive Technologies

Entry 1-3 is Foundation Level which sees the full development of reading and writing skills from early sentence construction at M1. Level 1 is the key level of entry for mainstream courses and Level 2 is GCSE Level where most industry standard qualifications start.
