Highlights from the meeting – Oil and Gas Preliminary agreement to establish Arctic Regulators Forum. The link from the Forum to Arctic Council is not clear. EPPR might have a role. Presentations from the oil industry –Proposed a workshop to share information about what the oil industry is doing. EPPR might have a role to arrange this (March 2015?)

Highlights from the meeting Maritime safety –Traffic monitoring and management Ship reporting systems Aerial surveillance –( EPPR possible link to UAV project) Access to and use of relevant data to improve analysis (EPPR - CMERA??) –Maritime services Navigational charts – (PAME project?) Improved meteorological and oceanographic forecasts Marine Aids to Navigation Identification of location and availability of emergency response vessels and equipment to prevent groundings (SDWG AMAATI project - EPPR) Pilotage in Arctic waters Increase availability of MARPOL port reception facilities –Human resources – training, education, expertise –Reducing risk assosciated with the use of HFO
