It may be that Prototype 2 resources are still missing for some approved Projects) Pending (a poll for CMC Project approval is on-going) Draft (Project not approved. Draft Projects will encompass medium and long term planned Projects covering the currently approved CCSDS on-line Strategy Plan) The current CWE Management Framework contains 3 views under the "Projects" section View Existing Projects (Approved & Pending) 90 Projects (88 Approved, 2 Pending) 54 BBs, 20 GBs, 13 MBs, 1 OB View Draft Projects 19 Draft Projects View Closed WG Projects (it shall be "all" and not closed)

19-May-2015-cesg-3 Proposed Way Forward Secretariat is finding issues to define the new agreed Project status “Draft” Action due date = 31 st Dec 2014 In order to alleviate the situation the following proposal is suggested: - Step 1 - WGs issued resolutions to approve needed Projects in "pending" status - Remaining "pending" Projects will change status, from "pending" to "drafts". Completion dates and resources might be deleted. - Step 2 - WGs Chairs will include the future Projects addressed in the Strategy Plan. A WG chair will be able to create a draft project by inserting the title, description. He can leave all the completion dates empty. He only saves the Project as Draft. - Update Charter if needed - Step 3 - Once WG Chair wants to activate the Project for approval, she/he has to complete all the dates before submitting the Project for CMC approval. There will be a checkbox on the page that says “Click here to set submit for CMC Poll Approval, and make sure you have provided dates and resources or your project will be set back to “Draft” status". Assumptions A Project in Draft status is not considered an open Project. CCSDS only works based on the list of "approved" Projects RESOURCE UNIT : wm (work month) DONE
