Underscores the necessity of interagency working and tasks Children and Young People’s Services Committees with a key role in this regard.
Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSCs) are a key structure identified by Government to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people in every county in Ireland. The overall purpose is to improve outcomes for children and young people, 0 to 24 years, through local and national interagency working. This will be achieved through enhanced planning, co- ordination and oversight of policy implementation, planning and service provision locally. CYPSCs act as the structure whereby services work together to achieve shared goals and bridge national policy with local provision.
