 For most learners of English the classroom is the only place they use English. In order to create a situation in which English is used spontaneously in class, and where every student feels included, valued, and respected it is useful to create a warm, supportive English environment.

To create an English environment teachers should try to give the impression to students that they are making a visit abroad each time they enter the English classroom. Their visit should be not only a chance to speak English, it should also be a cultural dip into a foreign setting and international atmosphere. Leaving the class students should feel that they "have been somewhere else" and they look forward to coming back next time. Design Prepare "English only" posters to put up on the walls of the classroom or on the door. Put key phrases and formulas on the walls of the classroom so that students don't forget them when they need to use them. (e.g., "I don't understand", "please help me") Encourage students to bring any magazines or books they have in English. Put the date on the board in English at the start of each class. Put other notes in the classroom in English. Iditarod is an incredible teaching tool that teachers incorporate into all content areas of teaching. Iditarod should not be the ‘clutter’ in your classroom, but the purposeful blueprint for your students to be

Give Your Students English Names  It is an excellent way to teach pronunciation  Use of English first names accustoms students to the fact that English speaking people use first names in situations where other nations do not  It helps make speaking English in class more natural  It is fun and interesting for students.  For example anglicized student’s name:  Diana instead of Dina

 Red and orange are stimulating  Yellow or gold evoke feelings of warmth and cheerfulness.  Blues are calming. Some suggest the best colour for a classroom is sky-blue, tinged with red.  Green suggests hope, restfulness and calm and is associated with nature, giving a peaceful, secure feeling.  Light pink, coral and pastel colours soften energy.  Pink relates to  sensitivity and love.

 Show interest in each student as a person  Value and respect what students think and say  Give feedback on each person’s progress  Laugh with them and not at them  Explain that it's OKAY to make mistakes! Relationship or connection you establish with your students

Conclusion after the lessons, students should feel like they have made a mini-trip abroad, and the usage of native language has been kept at a minimum. after the lessons, students should feel like they have made a mini-trip abroad, and the usage of native language has been kept at a minimum. If English classroom looks too national, it seems natural that students speak only native language in such an environment.
