Teacher Tube Teacher tube is a great source for any digital media to use with your class. It is free to sign up, and you have access to many different photo, video, and audio files.

Choose what type of file you want at the top of the page, or enter a topic in the search bar.

You can download the video here Copy the link Or, copy the code to embed the video on a webpage

Teacher tube is also a great place to host your own videos that can be shared with parents or others. Click “upload” and follow the directions

Linking vs. Embeding You can view files in several ways on a webpage. 1. Link: Print the url where the video can be viewed. The viewer can enter it into the address bar of a browser, or can click on it and will be taken to the site where the video is hosted. Embed: This file is now on the webpage itself. The viewer will not need to leave the webpage to see the video.

You Tube….. Sometimes you may want to show a video on a site that is blocked by the school district. First, check to see if you can find the video on Teacher Tube. If not, you will need to put that video in a format that the school will allow. (Do this at home.) I use a website called “Zamzar.com” Go to this website and follow the directions. Save videos as an “avi” file and save audio files as “wav” files.
