Why learn Chinese? Why shouldn’t you learn Chinese? Guess what the former Australian Prime minister, Kevin Rudd; the successful entrepreneur, Mark Zuckerberg and the U.S. President Obama’s daughter, Malia Obama have in common? They all take Chinese as their second language. The study of the Chinese language opens the way to different important fields such as Chinese politics, economy, business opportunities, history or archaeology. Learning Mandarin Chinese could be one of the absolute best investments you can make for yourself. Whether you’re looking for a new academic pursuit, new career skills or a new perspective on life, there are few activities likely to have the same huge payoff. What is Chinese Mandarin ?

Chinese: - 汉 Hàn 语 yǔ or 中 Zhōng 文 wén -A group of related spoken dialects -The written language is largely the same -Nearly 1.2 billion people (around 16% of the world's population) speak some form of Chinese as their first language.
