Homework Located inside the homework folder you will find two calendars, one calendar with monthly assignments for reading and one with monthly assignments for spelling. Please have your child complete all assignments on a separate sheet of paper and return to school inside the homework folders on Fridays. You may put more than one assignment on a sheet of paper just be sure to include the date. This week we added review problem solving for math.

Giving Without Walls Project The First Grade Giving Without Walls Project will be hosting the Pop Tab collection contest at CBA for the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill provides a “home away from home” for families of children who are receiving health care at area hospitals. The House offers physical comfort and emotional support through programs dedicated to the well-being of the whole family. The contest will begin in January, but there’s no reason we can’t start collecting now!

Thanks for flying in!
