Nebraska's Legislature is unusual in that it is a unicameral. A single house legislature. –The US is bicameral-two houses No other state in the U.S. has a single-chamber legislative body. At 49 members it is also the smallest state legislature It is also nonpartisan. Not separated by political parties.
Senators are chosen for four-year terms. –Go on two year rotations No person may be a senator unless he or she is a qualified voter, over the age of twenty-one.
