 The abortion debate asks whether it can be morally right to terminate a pregnancy before normal childbirth

 Rational argument about the right and wrong way to treat animals is made difficult by the love that many people feel for animals

 Capital punishment is the practice for executing someone as punishment for a specific crime after a proper legal trial

 A number of ethical issues come up when discussing charity work

 Is contraception an issue of human rights?  Is there ever a duty to use contraception?

 Euthanasia is the termination of a sick person’s life in order to relieve them of their suffering

 The practice of female circumcision is widespread within some African cultures and ethnic groups

 Forced marriages are a result of cultural factors, and no major religion in the world advocates forced marriage

 Honour killing is the murder of a woman accused of bringing shame upon her family

 Lying is probably one of the most common wrong acts that we carry out  Most people wound condemn lying except where there is a good reason for it

 Circumcision is primarily carried out for religious or cultural reasons.  It is sometimes done for health, hygiene and aesthetic reasons

 Slavery can broadly be described as the ownership, buying and selling of human beings for the purpose of forced and unpaid labour

 Competition is not unethical but the allure of winning can drive some competitors to unethical behaviour.

 Torture involves deliberately inflicting physical or mental pain on a person without legal cause

 Is it ever right to go to war?  When is it right to wage war?  What is the moral way to conduct a war?
