NEW MOU

In planning the future operation, the Collaboration should keep two central priorities in mind. The ANTARES project is an important physics experiment and should be fully exploited as such. It is also an important test bed for a future km3 experiment and tests that allow testing for this new project. The FRB was presented the budget demand for 2011 which amounts to 539 KEuros. The FRB accepted this budget and asks the participating agencies to send their contributions according to the table presented in the Appendix. The FRB took note for the Collaboration budget forecast for 2012 amounting to 440 KEuros. The FRB members are in favour of the MoU renewal. They suggest to modify the program for the last two years: from “no maintenance” to “reduced maintenance”. They also suggest to specify that subsequently to decommissioning, the infrastructure may be used by groups active in “Earth & Sea Science”. Raccomandazioni dall’ External Review Committee e dal Financial Review Board

conclusioni Antares è l’unico telescopio sottomarino funzionante e in presa dati. Ha dimostrato che la manutenzione si può fare in modo efficace. Proposto rinnovo MOU per altri 5 anni. Numerose analisi sui dati raccolti (attualmente 30 PhD students)
