 Explore o Draw a picture o Look for patterns o Guess & test o Work backwards o Try a process of elimination

 Solve o Set up the problem o Ability to locate errors

 Check o Estimate the answer o Determine if your answer is reasonable o Check your answer o Look at the possibility of other solutions or other methods of solution

 If you do not understand a problem… o Leave it and proceed with the test and return to that problem later.  Remember to leave that answer choice blank on the scantron!
