FE Exam Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination First step to be a licensed Professional Engineer Take the exam your senior year (typically final semester) Each engineering discipline has a varied list of topics Fancy news: Civils don’t have thermo on the exam Takes roughly 6 hours and has 110 questions Exam is taken on the computer Some Awesome Stats National average passing rate for Civil is 71% Purdue has a 92% passing rate!!
