As part of the Bronze award scheme, school serves seasonal school meals, 75% of which are freshly prepared by experienced school cooks. The school also gives every pupil the opportunity to visit a farm, cook and participate in food growing activities during his or her time at school, and pupils and parents are involved in making improvements to the school’s menu and dining experience. Well done to all involved! Nepal Earthquake Appeal Well done to Mrs Thomas who completed her 40 mile walk in aid of the Earthquake Appeal, she raised £100. This means the total raised in school is a fantastic £375! Thank you to all who donated! Thank you to all who donated! Half Term Events There are a couple of fun events planned at Lowerhouses and Longley Community Church over the half term break. On Wednesday 27 th May for 8-13 year olds, Worth Unlimited are running a crafty morning with food provided. The next Messy Church is on Thursday 28 th May pm, more fun activities with tea provided.
