We send you materials for the baking kit about one week before the assembly. Students love to help assemble the kits! We recommend kits are ready for kids to take home at the end of the day of the assembly.
Each student will take home a baking kit. Each kit is made up of one each of the following; 2-lb White Whole Wheat Flour 2-lb All-Purpose Flour dough scraper Red Star yeast packet BFGK recipe booklet plastic bread donation bag twist tie While supplies last, we will also send a canvas tote bag to carry the baking kit items home! Instructors will bring a video camera to plug directly into the back of an LCD projector provided by the school. The camera can connect to either a RCA or HDMI outlet on the back of the projector. LCD Projector
The projector should be on a cart near the demonstration table. If your projector is mounted on the ceiling, the cords from the camera MAY NOT reach. If the projector is ceiling mounted in your school, please talk to the instructor as soon as possible so we can find a solution. Projector on the ceiling? Call the instructor! While the students will want to watch the instructor at the demonstration table, it is important that each student has a clear view of the screen. Can everyone see?
The instructor needs two 8 foot/rectangular tables. They set up their materials on one, and use the second for their supplies. They will also need a trash basket. Demo Table Tables Supply Table
