Intro to Depression & Suicide  Suicide is the taking of ones own life.  Depression is the feeling of sadness and distance from the world.  Suicide and depression go hand in hand because depression is a big cause of suicide.

Connection to Teenagers Today  Today some teens commit suicide for reasons such as depression.  Depression can be caused by mental illness, loneliness, family problems, or relationship problems.

Thesis  Teens today can have an impulse to kill themselves because of mental illness, depression.
