Agenda Bell Ringer / Agenda – 5 minutes Chapter 3 Group Teach – 65 minutes – Your groups need to complete the following today… PowerPoint over selected topic – PPT needs to clearly define what topics are vocabulary words and what topics are important notes. – PPT needs to include either a YouTube video or link to article to further explain your content. An activity for the class to complete on the left-hand side of their notebook for your content. Decide who is teaching what topic. This needs to be extremely fluid. There is no time to waste to decide who is speaking over what topic on the day of the presentation.

As a group, you will develop some form of presentation ( minutes) to teach to the class. – Your presentation needs to signify VOCABULARY WORDS and NOTES that are important for students to write in their notebook. – Your presentation needs to include either a SHORT (less than 7 minute) YouTube video, picture that connects to an article or Internet resource, or website that can be viewed for further explanation. (BE SURE THAT ALL ARE APPROPRIATE FOR A SCHOOL SETTING). As a group, you will develop some form of activity that the class will complete on the left-hand side of the notebook. – Remember left-hand activities should demonstrate what students have learned that class period. – Use the book or internet for reference.
