Frequently Asked Questions 1. How convenient is the location? Rosen Shingle Creek is 11.8 miles (15 minutes) from the Orlando International Airport (MCO). Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Club is 7.9 miles (15 minutes) from the resort and 18.4 miles (25 minutes) from MCO. 2. How do I register? You register by paying through your chapter by September 12 or online via the secure portal on by September 30. Your chapter will be notified of your registration. 3. Do I need a rental car? Auto is the best way to get around. There is complimentary self-parking. However, rounds on Friday and Saturday will take place at the resort. 4. What is the attire? Orlando is a pretty casual town, but a jacket is required at the Awards Banquet. 5. It’s a Disney town. Are families invited? Yes! We strive to make the National Tournament inviting to significant others. In this instance, Disney, Universal Studios, etc. are around so please feel free to bring kids. HOWEVER, I would suggest you not bring children to the Hospitality Suite. 6. May I extend my stay at Rosen Shingle Creek at the group rate? Yes. You may reserve your room 3 days before or after at the group rate. 7. Why are we playing the Ham Am off property ? Friday, October 14 will be the Grand Re- Opening of the Shingle Creek Golf Club and there will be no rounds played there prior. Thus no practice rounds at the tournament course. 8. Other questions?
