MoManufacturingWINs Grant The purpose of the Department of Labor grant Meet the growing workforce needs of the manufacturing industry. Provide educational and training opportunities to qualified Missouri citizens that leads to employment in a manufacturing career. SFCC one of 9 participating community colleges SFCC’s allocation: ~$996,000 of $15 million statewide Grant funding must be used between October 2012 through September 30 th of (3 year delivery, 1 year reporting)

SFCC Goals continued… We must find innovative ways to present programs. These include: Flexible schedules — “chunking”, 4-,8-, 12-wk formats Online or hybrid versions of new courses or programs.
