 Bobcat Village Apartments Residents have a 1 year contract compared to the academic year contract. (May-May)  Bobcat Village Apartment residents are not required to have a meal plan.  All residents at Bobcat Village Apartments must at least be 18 years of age.

 Alcohol Policy:  “Bobcat Village Apartments residents aged 21 and over may store and consume alcohol. If one roommate is 21 and older and the other occupant is not, the roommate of legal drinking age may store and consume alcohol in an area of the apartment designated for the legal-aged occupant. It must be obvious who is storing the alcohol within the room. Alcohol is never permitted in lobby areas, hallways, or other public areas.”  “The use of alcoholic beverages in the apartments by students of legal drinking age is allowed if consistent with State laws and University policies. The alcohol must be used for personal consumption only, may not be supplied to other students and must be properly disposed.”  “Alcohol must be transported closed in its original container from the store to the apartment.”  “Students- regardless of age or location within any university housing facility-who are found to have been drinking and who draw attention to themselves through disruptive behavior or the inability to care for themselves may be charged with consumption of alcohol and sanctioned through civil, criminal and university processes as appropriate.”

 Bobcat Village Apartments have 16 residential buildings.

 Bobcat Village Apartments has an Administration Building which contains the front desk which also includes the RD and ARD offices.  The Admin Building is open from  Academic year: 8am-7pm  Summer: 10am-7pm  There are always 2 RAs/ staff members working the desk because tours are available to visitors anytime the desk is open.  Bobcat Village Apartments have a swimming pool, sand volleyball court, study rooms, club house, and gym for Bobcat Village Apartment residents only.  Club house contains: TV, kitchen, air hockey, pool table, and a meeting room.  Residents can check these items out and reserve these spaces.  Bobcat Village has model rooms, so there is no need to “find rooms” for Bobcat Days.  The Bobcat Village Apartment pool hours:  Academic year: 8am-10pm  Summer: 10am-10pm

 Bobcat Village Apartments include amenities such as:  A washer and dryer in each apartment  Dishwasher in each apartment  Full size fridge  Full size beds  Sofa and armchair  Entertainment unit  Coffee table and end table  Either Two barstools (2 bedroom apartments) or 2 chairs and 1 small kitchen table (1 bedroom apartments)  Desk and chest of drawers  Residents are allowed to bring their own microwaves  Bobcat Village Apartments are located near:  Bobcat Stadium  Bobcat Baseball Fields  Texas State Golf Course  The Meadows Center  Bobcat Village Apartments have outside entry. This is our only hall on campus to have this.  Each residential apartment includes a dead bolt lock on the entry door to each apartment.

 Custodial Services do not clean room/apartment restrooms throughout the semester at Bobcat Village Apartments. Residents are responsible for cleaning their bathroom while living in the apartment.  Bobcat Village Apartment residents must have a Bobcat Village parking permit (Silver pass) and cannot purchase a Perimeter pass or Mill Street parking permit.  Bobcat Village Apartment residents will have a P.O. Box number for mail. Residents will share this assigned P.O. Box with their apartment mate.  Any mail that can fit in in the residential P.O. Box will be placed inside; larger packages will be logged through the Administration Building and residents will be contacted about their package.  Bobcat Village Apartments Mailing Address:  1301 Aquarena Springs Dr. Box #__________, San Marcos, TX,  4 dumpsters at Bobcat Village:  1 located outside of Building 1  1 located outside of Building 3  1 located outside of Buildings 7 & 13  1 located outside of Building 16

 Bobcat Village RAs get paid $ every 2 weeks  Residence Hall RAs get paid $51.50 every 2 weeks  Residence Hall LCRAs get paid $64.00 every 2 weeks  Bobcat Village RAs do not receive a meal plan  Residence Hall RAs get a meal plan  Bobcat Village RAs share apartments with 1 other Bobcat Village RA of the same gender, but still have their own room and bathroom.

 Whenever there is a contractor working at Bobcat Village Apartments, a staff member must be present.  Some contractors we work with/have worked with include:  Protection 1 (Alarm Systems)  Swimming Pool Contractors  Private Cleaning Companies  Air Conditioning Contractors

 Model apartments must be kept locked at all times  Staff members are to always be present with guests  Do not leave guests in the model apartment alone.  Model apartment items should not be touched or used by staff.
