Timings Children do not have to be legally in full time until a term after their 5 th birthday. If you feel that your child still is not ready for full time, do not worry! We can make arrangements suitable for your child. Tuesday 6th September (Thursday 1 st and Friday 2 nd INSET, Monday 5 th just Year One children in Acorn) Three full days – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:45am – 3:30pm Rest of school 8:55am Week beginning Monday 3 rd October Full time and 8:55am

Routines Start of Day Bring your child to the Reception Play Area 8:45am teacher will open conservatory door Hang up coats, book bags in named tray, communication books and home learning folders in green box - with increasing independence Activities available on tables – parents can chat to teacher or teaching assistant if needed 8:55am music will play to signal tidy up time and register Children must be in school by 8:55am End of Day Come to the main playground. We will send your child over to you so we know that they have gone home safely

What your child will need School uniform (see prospectus for further information) Book bag PE kit - in school at all times in a named bag with daps and sent home half-termly to be washed and checked (e.g. daps still fit, names still visible) Weather-appropriate clothing – coats, woolly hats, sun hats All items of clothing should be clearly named Hair should be tied back if long No jewellery – including stud earrings
