Yes/No questions A Yes-No question is a question which has only two answers logically needed, they are: ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. This type of question is characterized by placing one auxilliary at the beginning of a sentence. E.g: - Do you know me? -Yes, I do.  short answer.

Yes/No questions The word "DO" is one of the auxilliaries in English. You can also use: Does, did, have, has, will, and "be" E.g. - Does she work here? - Did you do the homework? - Have you eaten? - Will you dance with me at the party tomorrow? - Is dad sick?
