Mega cap - $200Billion and larger Big/large cap - $10 billion to $200 billion. “Blue Chip” stocks. Mid cap - $2 billion to $10 billion. Growth Stocks. Small cap - Typically new or relatively young companies. $300 million to $2 billion. Risky. Micro cap - Penny Stocks. $50 million to $300 Greater the risk, greater the return. Nano cap - Companies having market caps below $50 million. VERY RISKY!!!
