How do they differ from migrants? Do you agree with the 1951 Refugee Commission, that it is our responsibility to provide shelter or asylum to refugees? Why or Why not? Some people argue that these are not refugees but “economic migrants” who are seeking a better life because of the war torn infrastructure of their homeland, but are not in any immediate danger. They feel that they have no refugee rights because they are willingly leaving their homeland. Thoughts?
