Tone ► When FDR spoke to the people he talked with much confidence. His tone and energy in the way he talked was motivating and made a clear understanding for the people. ► He was very punctuate on everything he addressed, which was effective for him to make the congress understand. ► Franklin was stable and firm in the way he spoke, this way his words come out clearly

He did an amazing job catching the new congresses attention and made it easy for them to comprehend what he was trying to say! ► Franklin had the energy needed to make his speech outstanding and one speech America will never forget in history for him as a President.
► Roosevelt did an outstanding job at informing his audience as to what was going on and what was happening. ► He told the congress of both the positives and negatives of the United States. ► The audience reacts to what he has to say by applauding him and listening intently. ► He was strong in his words which encouraged the congress to listen to what he had to say as the President.
► Franklin Delano Roosevelt is trying to urge congress to protect the United States from other countries. ► The congress is the audience that can make this protection happen for the welfare of the people of this country. ► This protection and well being of citizens is the act that waiting to be done by Franklin himself and all American citizens at the time of the greatest was in history.
► The four freedoms speech by Franklin Roosevelt had structure that made the way he talked elegant yet demanding. ► The speech may not been rehearsed, but Roosevelt managed to get his view across to the congress by staying confident and partially persuading from key words he used such as the eagles wings and American strength. ► As he speaks to the congress he keeps a well put composure even with his polio disease, he is able to stand strong for the sake of his country.
What I Learned ► This speech taught me that the freedom and safety that I have now took a lot of hard work and determination. ► I learned that the way some people live is worse than mine and being apart of a country that provides many opportunities as the United States does, I am thankful to live where I do. ► There may be consequences from wars but they can determine a lifestyle and way of living for some people.
